White River Sports offers a nationally recognized Christian sports league called Upward Sports. We currently offer basketball, cheerleading, soccer, & flag football. Our programs are for kids ages 5 through 12 or Kindergarten though 6th grade. Upward Sports is a different take on the sports leagues in our culture. Here are some key ideas and values from the league that make it different:
- Devotions at practice every week
- Begin every game with prayer
- Incredible tools to help your child grow come with every kit
- Every child plays the same amount of time
- Score is not kept until the 3rd grade
- Season standings are not kept
- No end of the year tournament to determine the winners & losers
- High expectations regarding the level of respect from coaches, players and parents to our game officials.
