Soccer Coaching

Upward Soccer Coaches Training (Required to coach)
March 13 | 6:30 - 8:00pm | Garage
This training will include all the details about the new play format, a coaches clinic from a college coach, & coaches will receive their rosters. All coaches are required to attend.

WANT TO COACH?
All teams will have at least one coach who is an active member at a church, and all must go through a criminal background check (We do this for the safety of the kids and families involved in Upward).

We do provide training for coaches and expect all who volunteer for this position to go through the training. Dates for training are given when registration begins.

Time Commitment: 2.5 hours/week
Skills Needed: Patience and able to work with kids and parents

WANT TO REFEREE?
Are the authority on the court or field during the games. They are expected to officiate the game as well as be a coach on the court and help teach the kids. We do provide training for referees and expect all who volunteer for this position to go through the training. Dates for training are given when registration begins.

Time Commitment: 1 - 3 hours/week
Skills Needed: Patience and able to work with kids and parents / can blow a whistle
