Volunteer Classification's:
Helper – One time or Entry Level opportunity to serve. This volunteer would generally be investigating ministry and beginning to understand spiritual gifts. This volunteer would have minimal responsibility and require provided supervision. This level would be a task-oriented opportunity.
Supporter – Quarterly opportunity to serve. This volunteer would be assisting in a ministry. They would have at least one match for using their spiritual gifts and would need some assistance to serve. This level would be a task or role oriented opportunity.
Leader – Annual opportunity to serve. This volunteer would be leading a ministry. The volunteer would be a good fit for the ministry with talents and spiritual gifts and time to offer. The volunteer would be provided with ministry oversight and staff help when needed. This level would be a responsibility-oriented opportunity.
Director – Extended opportunity to serve. This volunteer would be in charge of a ministry and have a spiritual commitment to the ministry. They would posses’ leadership qualities and accountability would be required. The volunteer would be the complete facilitator of the ministry. This level would be a delegation or care oriented responsibility. This type level would be counted on to be excellent by the pastoral staff.
