Women's Ministry at WRCC

I'm so happy you are looking us over and God is so good! He has blessed us with many opportunties to get connected with other ladies and I would like nothing better than to help you do just that. Please look over all the areas that our women's ministry has to offer and give me a call. We can schedule a visit and I would love to meet with you and answer any questions you may have or give you additional information.

Koinonia: real community real connections

Summer Session Begins: June 4, 2013

Our women’s study format beginning on June 4, will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings (9 to 11am) or evenings (6:30pm to 8:30pm) and ending in August. Corporate Worship and teaching will be held once a month before the weekly break-out sessions. Our theme for this next quarter will be “connect”. Various sessions offered for this next quarter will be:

  • Enjoy! by Tianne Moon
  • Makeover by Jen Hatmaker
  • What Happens When Women Say Yes to God by Lysa TerKeurst

The choice will be yours! Small group times will be built into the last part of the break-out sessions where you can have real community and real connections or as we say “Koinonia”.

Events

lol (laugh out loud)

When was the last time you had a good, heart felt belly laugh? Something you were told or experienced made you laugh so hard it was hard to catch your breath or tears came rolling down your face? Maybe it was the time you were telling a funny story and couldn't tell the entire story without laughing so hard it was impossible to complete the story. Now is the time...all ladies and men are invited to attend "lol" on FridayMarch 22nd, to enjoy an evening out with your special guests to laugh out loud. Kerri Pomarolli and her husband, Ron McGeehee, will entertain us with their Christian comedy here at WRCC. Tickets are $15 each or 2 for $20 until sold out! Don't delay, they will go fast! The doors will open at 6:30pm with flavored coffee and light snacks being served until event start time at 7pm. Bring a friend, bring the co-workers, bring the neighbors, or bring the relatives for an amazing evening to drink coffee, eat and be merry.

Tea with Purpose

Learn how one person has the power to change a life forever. Enjoy delicious dessert, tea from Africa and a fashion show featuring clothing products made from women rescued from human trafficking and those affected by AIDS. Shop differently this Christmas with products from Kenya and Haiti.

Additionally you can choose an entrepreneur from www.BigDent.org and consider giving a micro loan in honor of someone. Any new loan made on the night of Tea with Purpose will receive a free Christmas ornament. Contact Alisa Knoll at theknolls1@sbcglobal.net or Sherri Stetnish at sstetnish@wrcc.org for more details.

Thanks to all the volunteers who made Tea With Purpose 2012 a success. Tea With Purpose 2013 will be scheduled in November.

Sweet Summer Sisters

We meet every July in the Worship Center Lobby and Coffee area to enjoy ice cream and to make connections with other ladies. This is an awesome event to build new and/or existing relationships.
