Tell us about him: He is loving husband, a capable leader and a faithful friend. He loves being around people and hearing how God is working in their life.
Tell us about your family: He is blessed to be married to the most loving, generous and devoted woman he has ever met, his wife Rebecca. He says he can go anywhere in the world as long as his wife is with him, she is where home is for him. Praying and hoping for children in the near future! But in the meantime, we have 2 dogs that are quite a handful.

What he hates: University of Texas, Sweet pickles, Hardboiled eggs, Milk that is older than the date on the bottle
What are his pet peeves: Ceiling fans that click, bright lights in the morning, clutter! (not a neat freak, but things have their place)
What is his greatest fear: Not doing ministry, settling for second best
What is his dream for ministry? Seeing the saints equipped to do the work of ministry, He is in a role that he considers his “dream job”
What are his goals for the future? To create a safe, caring and consistent environment for small group leaders to grow and flourish
His inspiration: The faithful-consistency of Jesus, My wife, The book of Hebrews, N.T. Wright
If he wasn’t a Pastor: He would be a football coach
Where he learned his stuff: B.S. from Texas A&M University, M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary
In a previous life: He was a college pastor in College Station, TX leading small groups and taking mission teams to North Africa and Japan.
What is his specialty: He loves meeting with guys one-on-one, mentoring them to see God’s best develop in their lives. He also loves working with discipleship systems to ensure they are both effective and efficient
His personal and work characteristics that are important to his job: He is a very focused/insightful person that works hard to enable people to connect with God and each other at a deeper level.
Why he wanted to work at WRCC: He wanted to work with a team of exceptional people who would help him grow in leadership and in the Lord.
The best thing about working at WRCC: He loves working with a self-motivated team that long to see the kingdom expand in our town and in the nations.
Most likely to be when Divine inspiration hits: While he is lying in bed before he gets to sleep, which really isn’t convenient because he has to scramble to write it down or he’ll lose it.
Hobbies: Aggie Football, riding his bike, reading, grilling an array of fine meat
