What I cherish? Time with my family. Mandy and I have been married since 2001, and have been blessed with two wonderful (polar opposite) kiddos. Kyleigh was born in 2003, and Jakob was born in 2006.
What make me laugh? My kids.
What makes me cry? Saying good-bye to family and friends.
What I enjoy? Spider Hugs and Spider Man Hugs (you’ll catch on when you see me with my kids), cooking, HULU (for old episodes of Quantum Leap, A-Team, and any other 80’s show that brings back good memories), just about any movie, March Madness, Family Game Nights, anything outdoors, and a good book if I get the chance.
College Years? Houston Baptist University (B.S. in Psychology and Christianity) and Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary (M. Div.)
Dream for ministry? To help kids know God and trust Him as their Savior, and to help equip parents to be the primary faith leaders in their home, so that they can equip other families to do the same.
When does divine inspiration hit? Lately while doing puzzles (strange I know). Usually, however, it is when I am piddling. It looks like I am completely unproductive during these moments, but I promise God is doing His work in me during those times.
Things you should know about me: If I turn my head away from you while you are talking it’s not because you have bad breath, I’m just partially deaf in one ear. For breakfast I would rather eat pizza, chicken fried steak or a sandwich than your traditional breakfast. Finally, if y’all haven’t noticed yet, I am from Texas, but we look forward to making Noblesville our home.
Greatest fear: Being to afraid to try.
Favorite verse: Joshua 1:8 “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
