Jesus has called His Church to go to the ends of the earth to share the message of salvation. The Community Works ministry will provide opportunities that will take you at least to the edges of the United States. Sometimes we get too comfortable in our own backyards and too busy with our lives to recognize the needs all around us. We believe that by getting out of our "comfort zone" and getting out into the mission field that God will use that experience to transform our thinking and the give us the eyes of Jesus. As you serve in love others in different communities around the states, we believe your heart will grow in loving those in your own backyard. Make a difference around the country as we love our US neighbors in Jesus' Name.

Upcoming Trips:

New Orleans Relief Trip - Building Hope for the Future
We're going back to New Orleans to help rebuild neighborhoods in Jesus' Name. Much has been done to clean up the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina but there is much more to do. Check out updates on the New Orleans area at www.crossroadsmissions.org. You can make a difference and become the hands and feet of Jesus by picking up an application today at the Community Works counter. See below for more information:

When: Saturday, November 8 - Saturday, November 15th, 2008
Partner: Crossroads Missions (www.crossroadsmissions.org)
How Many: 25 available spots for this trip
Who: 7th grade to adults (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent)
What: Rebuilding communities
Skills: Basic to expert (anyone willing to serve & get your hands dirty!)
Cost: $300 per team member
