Upcoming Events SECOND SATURDAY - Saturday, June 14th, 2008 (8:30am-12:00pm)
Go Make A Difference! Jesus said the "2nd" greatest commandment was to love your neighbor as yourself! So on the 2nd Saturday of every month we're going to give you and your family an opportunity to do just that. We'll have (2) different options for you to serve others and show the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways to the people of our community. We'll even provide the transportation to take you to the serve sites. Just show up & serve...it's that easy. For more information call Derek at 773-2233 ext. 129. - Who:
Anyone (kids included). This is a great way for families to serve together!
- What:
Come and choose from (2) different serving options. Bring the whole family! Bussing to the serve locations will be provided (For safety/legal reasons, kids age 5 and under aren't able to ride the busses, so if you have little ones you'll want to follow along in your family vehicle to any off-site locations...we'll even provide the map!
- When:
Saturday, June 14th, 8:30am - 12:00pm
- Where:
Meet in The Garage lobby and get ready to serve!
- What to wear:
Both options will be OUTSIDE this time so just wear something that you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty.
- What to bring:
This time around we're asking our volunteers to bring flower trowels, rakes, & gloves. We'll have some extra on hand as well.
