Counseling Team
Dan Crosley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lincoln Christian College and a Masters degree in Counseling from Indiana University. Dan brings a lot of experience in working with couples and families. He has been counseling professionally since 1985 and is one of the ordained ministers on staff at White River Christian Church. Dan is a Nationally Certified Counselor and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Indiana. Dan is bilingual and has experience in working in other cultures and is thus able to offer counseling in Spanish. Dan and his wife Kathy have been married for over 35 years they have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Dan is the director of the counseling center and is the Pastor of Care Giving for White River Christian Church.
Cathy Appleton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Therapist, and Marriage and Family Counselor. She holds a BA & MSW from Indiana University, and an MBA from Butler University. Cathy has been involved in counseling since 1996. She brings counseling experience from the church environment and Community Hospital North Youth Services including in-patient and partial hospitalization programs. Her counseling work includes individuals, families and groups with issues of depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, anger management, communication skills, self-esteem and marital concerns. Cathy also has experience with infertility and adoption issues. Cathy and her husband Gary have been married for over 25 years and have one daughter.
Steph Troyer Williams earned her Bachelor of Science from Milligan College in Tennessee and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. She has also completed a year of doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at Ball State. Steph's therapy experience is with children, families, and parenting issues. She has worked with children with ADHD, defiant behavior, victims of sexual abuse and other disorders. She taught parenting classes for court-ordered parents at Lutheran Child and Family Services in Indianapolis and worked in Ball State's community counseling clinic. She was also a group counselor for Caring Arts, a program for children with emotinal disorders. Steph and her husband Evan have been married for three years and have three adorable dogs.
