This is the most recent neighborhood we've entered into. It is located on Riverwood Avenue, just off of SR37 near the power plant. In the summer of 2010, we joined several other churches to help restore the clubhouse, where many families & friends can come together.
This is a neighborhood in the heart of Noblesville where we served in 2008 during Faith, Hope, & Love Mission Week. We partner with Deer Creek Community Church in bringing the light of Christ to this neighborhood.
This neighborhood is just around the corner from our church building. It is located just North of 206th on SR19. There are around 130 homes in the neighborhood and God has blessed us with some great relationships with the people there as well. This is the 1st neighborhood we adopted and God has been at work in some powerful ways here.
"And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself" ~ Mark 12:30-31, NLT
Who is my neighbor? This question was asked of Jesus in the Scriptures and He told the man a story in response. The story was that of the Good Samaritan who helped the man in need on the side of the road. Our neighbors are anyone God puts in our path. As a church, we have neighbors as well. That's why we have been intentional in adopting a few neighborhoods in the Noblesville community. Our goal is to really get to know the people in these neighborhoods and meet practical needs as God brings them to our attention. In order to develop these relationships, we have to stay present year round.
In 2012, our goal is to provide specific opportunities to SEND volunteers to. Some of these would include cookouts, celebrations, invitation handouts, and special projects. Please consider how you and your family can go out "on mission" into these neighborhoods and be a light for Jesus Christ.
