Thursdays are an opportunity for our 5th-8th grade students to enjoy some fun games and activities while growing in their friendships with other students. This is a great time for students to invite friends who may not have a home church and introduce them to WRCC in a low-stress environment. We meet in the gym.
Everything in life revolves around having a pulse. Without a pulse, nothing could ever happen. This is extremely true when it comes to our relationship with God. That is why we have PULSE. Providing a time of large group musical worship, teaching, and prayer, PULSE is what keeps our spiritual blood pumping. This is the first part of the Sunday morning worship service for Jr. High students. We strongly encourage students to come for PULSE and stay for PULSE Small Groups.
During this service, we have the opportunity for Jr. High students to jump into the Word and get to have fun doing it. Pulse Small Groups are divided by grade & gender (5th grade boys, 5th grade girls, etc). Students hear God's Word and talk about it in their small groups. Through this combination of large group teaching and small groups, we will be getting to know more about what God has for us and how we can still use the Bible in today's world.
No, all you need to do is make sure your kids check in & establish a place to meet up with them after the service.
Great question! We are always praying & seeking people to serve in the Jr. High Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, all you need to do is contact Lindsay Neanover or Jeremy Hendricks and they'll get you connected with Corey Willoughby to find out what opportunities are available. There is also a background check that will be required in order to move forward with the process.
Once you've entered the main lobby by the worship center, find the restrooms & water fountain to take a short break, then make your way up the ramp checking out the local scenery from the many windows you'll have to look out, take a left when you can't go any further, then proceed North down the hallway. We're right down the hall on the left. If you see the church offices, you've gone too far.
