Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen are the weekly high school programs and where do they meet? - We meet on Sunday nights for Awake from 7-8:30pm
- On Wednesday nights in homes from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for Awake Bible Studies.
As parents, do we need to stay in the building while our child is attending the program? Nope . . . We would love for you to join us in the adult worship on Sunday morning, but you can run to Starbucks for a quiet cup of java. What special events are offered for high school students? A complete list of special events with dates and explanations can be found in our Upcoming Events Section. What can we do if we can’t afford to pay for a special event? We never want anyone to miss out on an event because of finances. Call Justin Fluhr in the office and we will work it out. For special events, what security provisions do we have in place to ensure our child is properly supervised and doesn’t leave early? We take pride in having plenty of adult supervision at all times and have a Security Team for our post-football game parties and overnight Lock-In event. Students that want to leave these events early must check in with a Security Team member placed at each external door. They will not be allowed to leave until the member of the Security Team has spoken with a parent or guardian. The time the student left will be recorded on the Early Dismissal form. What do you offer for students on Sunday mornings? There are actually two opportunities for students. The first is for students to worship in the main service with their families. We believe that worshiping as a family is very important and it is not only beneficial for the family but for the church body as a whole. Secondly, for students attending Sunday mornings for multiple services we encourage students to serve within the church. There are a variety of opportunities and areas to serve. For more information please visit the Student Ministry counter in the main lobby on Sunday mornings or contact the Sr. High Pastor, Justin Fluhr.
