Frequently Asked QuestionsWhen I drop of my students for PULSE on Sunday mornings, do I have to stay with them for the service? No, all you need to do is make sure your kids check in & establish a place to meet up with them after the service. What is the Garage? Where is it? The Garage is a multi-purpose ministry area primarily utilized by the Jr. and Sr. High student ministries. It’s a safe place for students to connect with other kids, have some fun, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. The Garage is located at the North end of the building and can be accessed along the front hallway from the Main Worship Center. How can I get involved in Jr. High Ministry as a volunteer? Great question! We are always praying & seeking people to serve in the Jr. High Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, all you need to do is contact Stacy Corwin and she’ll get you connected with Corey Willoughby to find out what opportunities are available. There is also a background check that will be required in order to move forward with the process. Who are the Jr. High staff members at White River? What is the Biblical curriculum used for Jr. High Ministry? Our main foundation for all teaching is God’s Word (The Bible). However, we understand that there are certain issues, topics, etc. that we need to cover to target the specific needs of Jr. High students. Therefore, we use another resource called The Seven Checkpoints to supplement the foundations of our teachings. What is PULSE all about? It is a three-dimensional worship experience including elements of corporate worship through music, large group Bible teaching, and small group interaction. Do you still have questions?
