Stephanie Williams | Finance Manager

Five ways to describe her
honest, trustworthy, dedicated, caring, loves working with people

A little bit about her
Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, her family moved to Noblesville, Indiana in 2004 for a new job opportunity for her husband. They found WRCC when her oldest daughter’s friend invited them to the “Home Build” in the church parking lot in August of 2004. The family has been attending ever since. She enjoys being involved in her children’s activities whether that is swimming, baseball/softball, basketball or church activities like GO!.

What she loves
The opportunity to work with Godly people, organizing things, sunny days, corn fields, Diet Coke, Peanut M&M’s, hanging out with her kids.

What she dislikes
Disrespect, angry or negative people, people who complain and do not take action ~ life here on earth is too short to be angry...there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for! Get involved!

Where she learned her stuff
She was brought up in a Christian home by wonderful parents who are her mentors, and was also influenced by youth pastor, choir director and adult sponsors/teachers during high school years.

The college years
She attended the University of Missouri–Columbia for a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, and the University of Missouri–Kansas City for a Master’s of Business Administration/Management.

Growing family
She has a husband (since 1988) and three children one entering High School, one entering Middle School, and the youngest will be entering her last year in Elementary School in the fall of 2008. Teenagers are not as scary as she had imagined. Hanging out and talking with her kids and their friends is fun!

What she cherishes
Time spent with family (husband, children, parents, siblings, etc.) & friends + the relationships she has with all three of her children ~ she hopes to continue being close to her children they grow and mature and eventually live away from home (but that is hard to think about right now)

Her specialty
Budgeting; also likes to analyze and improve processes, create documentation ~ has been a project manager and technical writer in a previous job Most likely to be when Devine inspiration hits In the shower, or driving alone in the car (places where she is alone...and it’s quiet!)

Here passion in life
Her passion is helping others ~ she would love to see everyone at WRCC find their area of passion and jump in to help!

Where did we find her
Found at the snack bar at COSTCO, by Murphy Beldiing, former staff member. They started chatting about accounting/administration in church and several weeks later she began helping with special projects and the opportunities grew from there.
The best thing about working at WRCC Being able to merge her faith and her career together & working with Godly people.

What she does for WRCC
Oversees the Finance Office and is helping with Human Resource Management.

What she’s done for other churches
She has enjoyed being involved with young children and nursery care for infants, in addition to event planning & performing financial duties for Tall Oaks Christian Camp & Conference Center’s annual fundraiser.

What she thinks about the church today
She would like to see everyone get involved in their area of passion ~ whether that is young children, Jr. or Sr. High students, worship & music, community outreach, missions, etc. When people share their time, talents and treasure they will be greatly rewarded by God.

Her Ministry Dream
Weekly offerings from congregation that exceed budget (all year!); to be able to expedite payoff of the church mortgage; for WRCC to be able to continue to provide for those in need, both financially and spiritually, and to “Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus”.
