Her all-time favorite role: In 1996, she took her Indiana boyfriend, Brian, to Jamaica to get married by the beach on the 4th of July! Now they have two wonderful boys, and the "Moore 4" are living happily ever after with their spoiled but sweet chocolate lab!Where she learned her stuff: Amy was a Purple Ace! She graduated from the University of Evansville in 1995 with a BS in English Education. Her love for reading, researching, and writing papers led to the English degree. She would be a full time student if she ever found a way!
Nothing could have prepared her, however, for the blessed 7 years she got to spend at home with her 2 boys! Those years flew by and now she uses the organizational skills she developed corralling her children to be an Administrative Assistant here at WRCC.
Her salvation experience: She was saved when she was 5 years old and will never forget the day she was baptized as a 6 year old and her 2 year old brother yelled "Watch out... There are sharks in that water!!" She is thankful for the protection her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, continually provides from those "sharks" as she continues on her journey in this life with God.
What makes her laugh? Her kids, her husband, and "cheesy humor"
What makes her cry? Her kids, sappy commercials, and love songs. This is what her kids call a "happy cry."
What she loves: In addition to her family, she loves the beach, any day the skies are pure blue, brownies, and music.
What she hates: She can't watch "based-on-a-true-story" movies if the ending isn't happy.
What are her pet peeves? Dirty finger nails.
What is her greatest fear? Her greatest fear is driving off of a bridge into water. She can't drive across a bridge without cracking the windows in the car. That way, if her car plummets into the water, the pressure inside the car will equalize quicker making it easier to open the car door, giving her a better chance of escaping...
When she's not at WRCC: One of Amy's favorite things to do is to spend time with her family and friends. She's a good listener and enjoys good conversation. She can play Guitar Hero on expert level, loves to jog, will read whenever she has the chance, and will occasionally play the piano. She likes to appreciate the "little things" that make life special. She thinks the expressions of joy on her kids' faces during the fireworks are way better than the actual fireworks!
