Tell us about her: She has lived in Indiana all of her life and has been in Noblesville for the past 10 years. She started attending WRCC with her husband and daughter in 2001, became a member in 2003 and was hired on staff in 2004.
Tell us about your family: She and her husband Scott were married in 1988 and they have a daughter who was born in 1998. She also has 2 dogs, Boomer and Lucy. Family time means everything to her. They try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Their favorite thing to do is to go to Florida every year and visit family, which live right on the Gulf of Mexico!!
What makes her laugh: Hearing the sound of her daughter burst out laughing uncontrollably at something funny makes her laugh with tears. She says there is nothing more special than that!!
What she loves: She loves animals. She thinks that animals are one of Gods best creations. She has a real passion for helping them.
What inspires her? Children inspire her. Children are so innocent and give such a different outlook on life. Everything in their world is so simple and sometimes adults make it so hard.
Where did we find her? She was picked out by the Early Childhood Minister to help volunteer in our children’s area. Having a young daughter at the time she said, "yes. " She really enjoyed teaching and met many new friends.
How she stays on top of trends and developments in the industry: She laughs when asked that because the truthful answer to that would be talking to the children every Sunday and listening to "what they like" and actually see the "latest trends". We all know that kids under 5 years old say it like it is!
What is it like working at WRCC: It’s like working with all of your best friends.
The best thing about working at WRCC: Knowing that all the work that she does for the children’s ministry is enjoyed by all the little children that come to learn about Jesus.
Hobbies: She loves to go camping with her family and spending time outdoors.
