Five ways to describe her: Friendly & fun-loving, passionate about teaching kids to be like Jesus, loves worshiping and serving God, adores her family, excited to see what God has in store for her future in ministry.

Tell us about her: She loves serving the Kindergarten through 4th graders here at White River Christian Church. She is very passionate about teaching them to be more like Jesus everyday in their lives. She likes finding new ways to bringing the Word of God to them in exciting and eye-opening ways. She feels totally blessed to be working for God and making a difference in kids lives.

Tell us about her family: Jodi and her husband have been married since August 14, 2004. She loves him more everyday and enjoys laughing at his crazy sense of humor. God richly blessed their family by adding a daughter on September 14, 2005! She knows that she has been richly blessed with a great family!

What makes her laugh? Her daughter's cackle, funny things that kids say (you get a lot of those in Children's Ministry)

What makes her cry? EVERYTHING! Especially the sound of kids worshiping God and accepting Christ for the first time!

What are her goals for the future? Traveling to Hawaii, establishing a fun and inviting atmosphere for Kids Zone, finishing my college education

Her inspiration: Kids, family, testimonies of Christ's love, Jeremiah 29:11

The college years: Jodi attended Kentucky Christian University as well as Cincinnati Christian University. She studied Youth and Families ministries at both schools.

In her previous life: Jodi worked at a church in central Ohio with another children's ministry. This was an awesome time to prepare her for her ministry here at White River Christian Church.

What is her specialty: Jodi's specialty would be helping kids to be more like Jesus. Helping kids develop their lifelong walk with Christ. And being a mom!

What can you thank her and her team for: Being available to offer a dynamic area for kids to come and meet Jesus while making great friends. The Kids Zone team strives to make every Sunday fun and interesting to grow the kids desire to want to live for Jesus.

Why she wanted to work at WRCC: Jodi wanted to work at WRCC because of the loving and Christ-filled environment that fills this church. Family is very important to her and WRCC makes family a priority. WRCC works as a team and she believes that is the most effective way to do ministry.

The best thing about working at WRCC: Feeling like you are a valued part of a family that is striving everyday to bring more people to Jesus. Jodi especially loves getting to laugh and have fun with this family.

Most likely to be when Divine inspiration hits: Rocking her daughter to sleep at night or worshiping through song and journaling.

When she's not here: You can most likely find Jodi at home with her family just hanging out and playing cards or watching movies!
