Tell us about him: Mark is "Dad" to two sweet kids. When not serving at WRCC or stitching someone up in the ER you can find him enjoying family time. He grew up on a large crop farm in southeastern Indiana where he learned what it means to work hard. He was also blessed with having awesome Christian parents and brothers.

Tell us about your family: He and his wife Carla are high school sweethearts, together they have two kids. Oh, and an Irish Setter, Max. They have been at WRCC for 6 years.

What makes him laugh: His daughter's jokes. His son's personality. Seinfeld. Family tickle fights.

What makes him sad: Those he sees that die without knowing Jesus. Also when Purdue football loses.

What he loves: Jesus, family, James Bond movies, COKE, Qdoba burritos, music/piano/guitar, electronic gizmos.

Other places his talents have taken him: He has been a speaker for Prevail, and many hospital software firms.

Where he learned his stuff: His dad, George Reiger, and his grandpa, Charles Reiger. Both great men who love Jesus and have a strong work ethic.

College years: Mark received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1994. Worked on his masters for 1 year and then moved onward to I.U. for medical school where he graduated in 1999. He did his residency in emergency medicine at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis where finished in 2002.

Salvation experience: Mark accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in elementary school.

Personal characteristics that are good to know: Being thorough; honesty; caring; giving of yourself.

The best thing about being a part of WRCC: Working alongside great people who all work at growing His kingdom.

Most likely to be when Divine inspiration hits: On his mower; playing piano.

Hobbies: Playing guitar and piano; being an awesome dad; mowing his lawn; playing golf; vacationing.
