Faith Moves
At some point OBEDIENCE to GOD will always require Faith on our part. This is where we find ourselves as a church! We invite you to join WRCC on a faith journey in recreating a community of faith that reflects the mission & values of the early church in the Book of Acts. It's time as a church to once again step out on FAITH and to trust God in using us to help complete His unfolding story as we live out Acts 29, the chapter that has yet to be written!
Beginning in September 2008, by God's grace and through the prayers of His people we will launch a Kingdom Expansion Plan that will prayerfully change our community & world from the inside, out!
We are depending on God for the outcome.
We will attempt in the next 3 to 5 years . . .
- To reach 1 to 3 lost people groups with the gospel.
- To develop a spiritual maturity pathway for children through adults, as we build mature disciples.
- To pay off our church loan in the next 10 years.
- To renovate our facility to meet the demands of a growing church with updated and relevant facilities.
- To expand our Upward Sports Ministry beyond our church's walls in a way that uses sports as a tool for salvation.
Update on Faith Moves as of May 2008
God continues to bless White River Christian Church. For several years, we have had an interest in the adjoining property to the south to help provide for our continued growth here at White River. This property consists of 4-1/2 acres and includes a 20,000 square foot structure (commonly known as the “Old Bowling Alley”). Two and a half years ago we began a preliminary investigation into the potential of acquiring that property, inspected the facility and began to talk about a purchase price with the owner. We have purchased the property and are thankful to God for giving us this great opportunity.
