VISIT THE MISSION FIELD WITHOUT LEAVING HOME
We are thrilled to have you join us on this new interdenominational family mission trip in Hamilton County. Below is this year's Faith, Hope & Love week at a glance.
What is Faith, Hope & Love?
- Started 4 years ago by a Pastor at the Indianapolis Vineyard Church
- Grew from 7 local churches meeting practical needs in Jesus' name to over 100 last year
- Over 1,200 volunteers participated in 2007
What will we be doing?
- You may sign up as an individual or as a family for one to five days of the week
- Optional Prayer walks in Noblesville on July 13 and Indianapolis on July 20 (see schedule)
- Meet at a different Host Church at 9am Monday through Friday for worship and a brief devotion and dive into the community to serve until 3pm (bring a sack lunch)
- Projects will be focused on the Southwest Quadrant of Noblesville (south of Cherry Street and west of 8th Street).
- Work will consist of family friendly landscaping to transform vacant lots and painting/home repair in an effort to revitalize that neighborhood in Jesus' name (wear clothing appropriate for getting dirty outside)
- The White River Sports Team will host a night of community fun, food and sports on Monday at the South Side Park within the Southwest Quadrant
- Individual Plan: $10 per day (includes a T-shirt; pre-register by June 29 to ensure size)
- Family Plan: $50 max for the entire week! (only one T-shirt included, additional T-shirts may be purchased for $10 each)
- Make checks payable to White River Christian Church and bring to the front office during the week or the Community Works counter on Sundays
