Jesus’ message was one that shook the world. He came to earth with a specific mission to set the world free from the captivity of the enemy. At times he spoke powerful words of grace and compassion, but other times his words were cutting. Jesus’ aim was to bring freedom where there was bondage, so his words had to be raw in order to cut through the lies that were in the world and in people’s hearts. As we move through this series, “Raw,” let us watch Jesus speak hard-hitting words against those who stood opposed to his Kingdom and listen to his instructions for how we are called to live in this dark, fallen world.
